He's mine, and I'm his. Our love is all-consuming, powerful,
imperfect, and real...

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington "Riptide" Tate as vital as the air he breathes... and now he can't live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman's dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, she is torn away from his side. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

Without a doubt the absolute best series of 2013! The Real series has a hold on my heart, mind and soul. Katy Evans just rocked my socks off! (again)

I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes... If you thought Real was epic then you are in for a panty dropping thrill when you get your hands on a copy of Mine!

In Real we loved to mentally undress Remington Tate. We fell in love with every single syllable that came from his gorgeous lips. We ate it all up and asked 'Please Miss Katy can we have some more?' and then... Katy Evan not only gave us more... she gave us darker, blacker, tougher, stronger, fiercer, wicked-er and even more, more, more Remington-Oh-My-God-Tate than we know what to do with. I swear this book isn't good for your heart. But it's a balm for your soul. It's raw, rough and rips right through you and into your core. And then it lives there.... Happy forever and always.

You can not believe how happy I am that Mine is essentially the end for Remy and Brooke. Not at all because I wanted it to be over, (I never want it to be over... ever) but I'm happy because not only did Katy Evan's give us a stunning story... she was wise enough to know when to call it a day. She gave us awesome and stopped before it became stale. Except for the third book (which is written in Remy's POV) Remy that will be out I believe Nov 28th, Mine concludes the amazing journey for Brooke and Remy. Now I'm not saying that I would have gotten bored with Remy at all... because that would just not be true. However, I'm a realist when I say that I find myself aware of how I approach books that have a long running tale spanning across three to six books. I usually make it to the second (sometimes, but rarely the third) before I get over it. Then it becomes something I start to lose interest in. It's happened and it happens often... so yes, I'm glad that Katy knew exactly how to tease us when she brought our Real... and then she lavished us with Mine is the best manner possible. And now.... It's done. It's perfect. It's just the right length to not become repetitive and it's concluded all nicely in a hot little cover. :)

I felt as if Katy Evans gave us her, Remy and Brooke's all. She didn't hold back. No way is there a single aspect in this entire book that I didn't want, need or crave. Again, it was perfect. The pace, the writing, the plot, the build-up, the round-up... we get quality. Not quantity. I'm left feeling whole and completely satisfied.

Sure... I'll miss them (mostly Remy lol) but those are the joys of re-reading... They will never be to far away. And Real as well as Mine are two books I wont soon (if ever) forget and will most definitely be reading it again.

I'm going to tell you that when you get your copy of Mine - be prepared for a book hang-over. Yes... It is THAT good!

“Baby, the way you need me can only barely cover half of the way I need you.”

Mine takes off pretty much-ish where Real ended. The pace of this book is somewhat fast, but not at all rushed. We do skip over a day or week here and there, but you don't miss much when that happens so there's no confusion or anything. What I enjoyed was that Katy didn't feel the need to inform us of why something was happening by referring to long, drawn-out incidents from the first book. At times references were made - which worked awesomely without taking us back to Real - but like I said, it was the faintest hints or why this and that is happening. That is a huge plus from me. I really dislike re-reading about incidents from previous books when all I want is for the current book's story to progress and more forward. So bonus points and smiles from my side all round for that.

I actually felt as if Katy wrote this book just for me (haha). I'll tell you why. Mine was devoid of every single pet hate I have while reading. How refreshing that was for me.

If you have yet to read the Real Series... then we can't be friends until you do. I'm sorry. It goes against my beliefs. I can not be friends with anyone who hasn't read Real yet. (haha) I'm only kidding... Just read it. If you've never listened to a word I've ever had to say, then just do yourself a favor and read Real. Think of this as my early Christmas wish / gift for you. Come on... It's so much warmer when you are on Remy's side. (& can take him with you to bed lol)
