Rock star River Wilde brought Dahlia London back from the brink of hopelessness with his unwavering love and devotion. But their entangled history is about to test the strength of their relationship…

Dahlia was certain she had found true love and met her "Once in a Lifetime’ when she reconnected with River. But Dahlia’s world comes crashing down when someone from her past resurfaces, and all of River’s carefully hidden secrets are exposed. River wants to show Dahlia that life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass—it’s about dancing in the rain.

But how many times can one broken heart be mended? Will River and Dahlia be able to stay together or will they be torn apart?

Kim Karr captured my heart and undivided attention when she brought out Connected. Since Connected was a debut novel for Author Kim Karr, I didn't know what to expect from there on out. I tried to imagine it getting better. I tried to picture what life would be like if she could do any better and I failed to see it. I just couldn't see Torn being any better than Connected was. It seemed impossible.

But Hello! I was wrong and I'll gladly swallow my words. There is something better than Connected and that's TORN!

Holly Mushrooms it was freaking amazing. The title, TORN, absolutely describes the way I felt while reading this second installment in the Connections Series.

Now if you haven't read Connected, I don't want to give much away - but basically at the start, we fall in love with River. But we also fall in love with Ben. But you kind of live with it, because that's just the way the book rolls.

In case you don't know - Ben is Dahlia's first love. First Boyfriend. First everything. But one night Dahlia goes to a rock concert and briefly meets River. The connection is instant but Dahlia's not a bad girl so she doesn't take it any further than a friendly chat and some mild flirting. Then, fast forward a few years... tragedy strikes and all that... To cut a long story short, she crosses paths with River again and again the connection is there. It's strong and now she just can't deny it.

Connected ends with a major twist. One that left me with my stomach in knots.

So Torn continues from the point where Connected ended. But now because of that major twist I mentioned above, there's more going on now than just the usual romance novel. In short - I was so Torn as to which way Dahlia should go... I had to stop reading for an hour before I could continue because I couldn't handle the pressure anymore. I couldn't make up my mind and it was A-Mazing!

Torn was so much better than Connected. And not by a little bit - but by a whole lot and then some.

I'm not going to spoil this for you since you just have to read Torn for yourself. If you've not yet read Connected... Then... get it right this minute. You can buy it on Amazon here - Go Quick. It's only $1.99 for the Ebook and you wont only be giving it one read. You'll at the very least read it twice. So it's worth every single cent.

But what I'm going to say is that I'm so, so glad that everything ended off nicely. There's no cliffer at all. Everything wraps up and Author Kim Karr does it brilliantly... yet again!

But know that Torn is not just your normal Adult / New Adult Romance. There are bits of erotic type moments within, but it's classy and beautiful. So if you are not the erotic romance type reader, then you can be rest assured that this book wont place you in an uncomfortable position - but it still offers us some juicy tit-bits that are guaranteed to make us swoon.

Another home-run for Author Kim Karr... but this time around it's done so beautiful... I'm still walking around in a daze!

Love you KK!
