Delilah Palmer has control of her life and outward personality, blocking the truth just below the surface. A façade meant to be normal and hide the scars of her childhood. She’s made a good life for herself, became a lawyer, and is free from the tortured past that haunts her daily. Until he comes along and breaks open the cracks.

Nathan Thorne has a past of his own. On the surface he is loved by all, personable, extroverted; everything Delilah isn’t. Hidden beneath is a dark and tormented man that only Delilah has to power to unveil.

Crammed in a small office together they see through each other’s masks, and the draw becomes too much, igniting an explosive relationship. Holloway and Holloway Law has a strict non-fraternization policy, forcing them to conceal their breach. Despite their efforts, separation becomes impossible, deceptions escalate, and Nathan has trouble coping; teetering on the edge of being overtaken by his past demons.

What secrets does he harbor that could keep him from giving in? What keeps him from healing and moving forward? And Delilah, where does she fit into all this turmoil?

Can they accept love and deal with all the trials that come their way when secrets are exposed? Or will they fall through the cracks of their pasts and be consumed by all that haunts them?

Oh. My. Lawd! Did that just happen?

This is the 2nd book I've read from author K.I. Lynn. The first was part of the Mayhem Erotica Anthology that was provided free during their launch. I loved the first novella I read of K.I's and I absolutely love the 2nd. (Breach being a Novel)

Basically, Lila (or Delilah) works as an attorney, leads a fairly closed off life. She's insecure, withdrawn from socializing and the reason for all this is due to her past. (I won't spoil it, don't worry) - so when there's a position that needs to be filled in her department, she's surprised to meet hot, sexy and equally as anti-social Nathan - who takes up the available position. So there they are… they share office space, they share some workload, they work similar hours (which often include late nights) and slowly but surely they get to know one another.

Lila soon realizes that Nathan goes about his daily life living in a fake pretense. Much like herself and although she's not pushy or demanding, she is intrigued as to why. He brushes off attention he gets from their female co-workers, he's somewhat quiet and to her… it simply doesn't fit the person she sees before her.

After a couple of weeks - which mainly consist of teasing banter and small talk - the innuendo's and sexy talk pick up a notch… which then leads to freaking hot and heavy office wall sex… Oh. Yes!

Sound like something you'd want to read about? Please… you don't even know the half of it.

Nathan is hiding in the dark. There's more demons in his haunted eyes than anyone has ever been allowed to see… except Lila…

Like I said, she's not pushy and forward, because she's just as haunted and fragile as Nathan is. But she's determined not to back down and she wants to figure it out… but without being nosy and all up in his business. She wants him to let her in. She wants him to want to draw her into past that haunt him both in the light and in dark. And the results… A hell of a lot of pushing away and equally as much of pulling each other back in.

Nathan is rough. I'm not talking about the 'around the edges' kind here. I'm referring to the 'in bed' or 'against the wall' or… ' on the counter' kind…

There… if that doesn't tickle your fancy… then it's not the book for you :)

This is a pure erotic adult romance. There are no frills and girly twirls in this book. It's dark, it's sensual and it's as erotic as they come. There's pain, hate, fear and one or two moments where there are tears. It's the second book I've read this week that is raw and uncensored. If you are fridget and uppetty… steer clear. If you are someone who loves to be tangled up into a mess of hot, swoon worthy and heavy sexual destruction… Breach is most definitely for you.

What I really enjoyed and honestly loved about Breach? The fact that even though it's an erotic romance novel, it's three dimensional. It's not just about the 'getting naked' bits… (although there are many of them) - theres more to this novel than just steam. There's an actual stomach churning plot and I adore it when erotic novels contain an actual story… Breach is not just fictional porn ladies. It's emotional and plot driven…. while still giving you many many hours of heat between the sheets.

I thoroughly enjoyed Breach. I'm adding K.I. Lynn to 'Fav Authors' list… because she's stunned and wowed me enough to really make a lasting impact. Bravo!
