Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

Wait For You is the fourth book thus far to receive my 2013 Fav status. It's so good that after finishing it very very late last night, I woke up this morning and re-read the last two chapters because I just couldn't believe it was true - For no reason, other than the fact that so far this year, I've struggled to find books that I've become obsessed about.

Actually, I might actually just read it all over again tonight! Yes... I loved it that much.

I'm a major Jennifer Armentrout fan. The Lux Series was so amazing, that I've read and re-read the whole lot twice. But yes, it's not for those of you who love a more adult read. It's definitely YA... and I was sorry that many of you missed out on the Jennifer Armentrout goodness, just because it's not your reading preference... but hold on... now you can experience the brilliance that's JA in the form of J. Lynn... her more adult / new adult books and nothings changed! JA / JL is just as good at writing NA / Adult as she is at writing YA! Maybe even better, because ummmm... now we get a little more sexy friction that was definitely lacking in the Lux series :D

Avery is a really great, really sweet 19 year old who moves across the country to attend college. This is to ensure she's far away from her hometown and the people who have caused her so much pain over the last 5 years.

We almost immediately meet Cam... a hot, very sweet and determined college boy, who after bumping into Avery on that first day - knows that she's what he wants and he's relentless at making sure that it turns out in his favor.

Both have secrets... and yes, Avery's is a little more painful (to me) than what Cam's is... but honest to God, J Lynn put together a wonderful tale of how Cam proves that he is determined to stand by Avery's side no matter how many times she ends up pushing him away or no matter how painful or scary her past is. The entire book is so well planned and plotted that there wasn't a moment that I wasn't in deep. The best part of this book is, that although it's really painful and dark... the relationship between Cam & Avery is so comfortable and witty. I laughed often at their back and forth banter... it was sharp and so funny. Wait for you has a wonderful balance between light lightheartedness and emotional topics. You smile when you must, you ache when needs be and you swoon every time Cam pulls his shirt off...haha... perfection!

There's a second part in this series, but it's not focusing on Cam & Avery and I'm greedy enough to be upset about that. I was hoping for more of those two, but it's not going to be happening. But I'm sure that the second part in this series, Be With Me, will be just as perfect, because what else do you expect from Jennifer Armentrout / J. Lynn? Exactly!

“Nothing fun in life is easy.” He emptied his glass of milk and then stood, coming to my side. He took my hand and pulled me to my feet. His arms went around my waist as he tilted his head down and when he spoke, his lips brushed my cheek. “I’m serious about you, Avery. If you want me for real, you have me.” Closing my eyes, I placed my hands on his chest. “I want you for real.” “Good to know,” he murmured, tilting his head to the side and his lips grazed mine. Anticipation swelled like a bubble. “Because if not, this would get a whole lot awkward.”

If you are one for New Adult / Adult Romance books and you are looking for something that gives you as many laughs as it does tears... then this is by far the number one book that I'd recommend you read in 2013.

It will tug at your heart-strings, make you blush, cry and laugh - it's an all-round winner!
